Now that your career or job is winding down you may be saying to yourself, “I deserve this!”
Your plans are to take it easy and relax. To go golfing, fishing, beaches, or to adventure on some dream vacation like Hawaii or Europe.
What if God has other plans for your life now that your in your comfort zone?
You may have a wealth of knowledge, insight, talent, gifts, wisdom, or just a heart of willingness to serve or volunteer.
There are so many ideas and things you can do for others, for God, for your country, or overseas to help the less fortunate. The list is endless and I’m not talking about a “bucket list” but to make the effort to do something selflessly for others.
Some ideas which are minimal I thought of are teaching a child an instrument you know, tutoring in school subjects for free, mentoring others in your field of expertise. Helping the homeless, the hungry, the poor. Visiting seniors who have nobody around, discovering a short term mission trip overseas or in the U.S. Using your trade skills like carpentry or plumbing, etc. In areas affected by storm disasters or reaching third world countries.
Your life has so much to offer and now is not the time to bury your gifts and talents but to use them to help others in the name of the Lord God.
Your greatest wealth is you-so what’s holding you back?
God says that you are His treasure and the apple of His eye.
Yes. You are His treasure and worth it, because God doesn’t make any junk. You are somebody and He created you in His image to be His hands extended. Life is a gift so make somebody else happy today.
Have a great day my friend!
