Where The Spirit of The Lord is There is Liberty

Freedom is a beautiful thing and privilege, but usually comes with a great price that somebody or others have paid and sacrificed to pave the way for true liberty. Men and women at war fighting for their nation to defend their freedom. Let us look at this subject on a personal level and not as a political discussion. The irony of somebody behind bars or enslaved such as the use of drugs, alcohol, or even sex trafficking can put a person into some deep bondage without any escape.

Slavery comes in many forms, but we usually do not notice it. One who goes to serve a life prison sentence behind bars. Jeff Epstein a billionaire who supposedly took his own life in prison enslaved many young girls and woman as victims of sex slavery. The other side of this sickness are the people who pay to have sex or are addicted to pornography. Internet pornography is known to be a multi billion dollar industry. Some are taken captive by the use of drug and alcohol addiction which can also be in the form of prescription drugs and not just illegal drug use. Others are just taken captive by other measures such as gossip, envy, jealousy, anger, and hate.

The Bible or Scripture has been used to control people such as living under the law and not walking in God’s grace. Paul the Apostle even dealt with Corinthian believers in Christ how they wanted to revert back to the laws of Moses or the flesh than walk and live in the power of the Spirit of God. Paul even said, “The letter kills, but the Spirit gives life” (2 Corinthians. 3:6). When the letter of the law kills such as legalism it sucks the joy right out of a person as a believer. The carnal mind takes over then the contention, faultfinding, backbiting, gossip, even sexual sin can drive your life right to the ground. The heart can become harden and we try to impress the the outward external appearances, or the status quo of our job, career, etc.

“Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty – FREEDOM “ Freedom and victory can be found if you are willing to allow God’s richest grace to work in your life. Christ Jesus paved the way for salvation, deliverance, and freedom from sin. Jesus paid the ultimate price once and for all!

You may have experienced freedom years ago, but now find your life being shackled with besetting, entangling sins. You may be miserable thinking this is life, but thats a lie. It’s time to rise up and let go and let God work in your life once again!

“Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
Hebrews 12:1 NKJV

Are you so foolish and senseless? Having begun [your new life by faith] with the Spirit, are you now being perfected and reaching spiritual maturity by the flesh [that is, by your own works and efforts to keep the Law]?” Galatians 3:3 AMP

To become effective and live victoriously we must turn from our addictive ways and allow the work of the cross to help us forgive and walk in the Spirit, where true freedom is found. There are no formulas, but a true work of God’s love and grace in your life.

“Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in my sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.” Romans 7:25 NIV

Greetings! My name is Andy Provitola and I live in New England on the south shore between Boston and the beautiful Cape Cod region. The purpose of my blogging and writing is to encourage you in your journey here on planet earth. Life is full of pressing issues and problems and my desire is to discover a place for peace, hope, healing, and contentment. I am a follower of Jesus Christ – God’s one and only Son of God and discovered these truths along my own personal journey. Having discovered a personal relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ does not mean I have to be religious to attain the rewards of heaven. The fact is God provides grace for us and accepts us as we are in His image. In other words, we cannot attain heaven or life eternal on our own, but by God’s loving grace and no merit of our own. My goal is to continue to find a balance of life from a spiritual and practical perspective with a purpose to please and glorify God in all that I do because of His ‘Gift of Grace’. God is not transcendent and so far away that he is out of reach with humanity. God desires that His presence lives within us and not just in the galaxies and the universe. Experiencing the unconditional love of God has been so rewarding and while discovering the truth and purpose for my life. Moving forward in this life is not a sprint, but a marathon when it comes to this race here on earth. I am blogging because I find it is a good way to connect in a much more effective and efficient way when it comes to communicating and interacting with with people that I do not know. Blogging and writing challenges me and also stretches me specifically in my thoughts, my mind, my emotions, and my spiritual life to live a vertical relation with God and a horizontal relationship with others. There will be a variety of topics and subjects to address including youth, young adults, family, singles, seniors, relationships, etc. Some of the topics will include God’s creation and power, depression, loneliness, suicide, hope, healing, setbacks, financial matters, business, stress, anxiety, care, encouragement, and so much more I would like to connect with all walks of life, ethnicity, culturally, other religions, socio-economics, and more I am currently writing a book and several memoirs about my own life and journey . The journey begins at a young age growing up in Malden, Massachusetts, specifically Maplewood Square to where I am today. I became paralyzed from the waist down as a senior in high school and I share how my life changed for the better! “But I do not consider my life as something of value or dear to me, so that I may [with joy] finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus. To testify faithfully of the good news of God’s [precious undeserved] grace [which makes us free of guilt of sin and grants us eternal life]. Acts 20:24 Amplified Version
