Be Strong and Stand Tall
Fear can paralyze us in many ways. Fear is not only an emotion, but a spirit that will prevent us from moving forward in life and your spritual growth.
We need to be reminded that not every obstacle that comes our way is the end of the world. God allows these obstacles and trials for a reason and a season in your life. There are other times its just outright evil that we face. Just like the Israelites. Israel faced giants in order to get into the promised land which was led by Joshua and Caleb. Remember, God made a promise to Moses to get Israel into the land of Canaan.
This was their report to Moses: “We entered the land you sent us to explore, and it is indeed a bountiful country—a land flowing with milk and honey. Here is the kind of fruit it produces. But the people living there are powerful, and their towns are large and fortified. We even saw giants there, the descendants of Anak! But Caleb tried to quiet the people as they stood before Moses. “Let’s go at once to take the land,” he said. “We can certainly conquer it!” or “we can overcome them”. But the other men the ten spies who had explored the land with him disagreed. “We can’t go up against them! They are stronger than we are!” So they spread this bad report about the land among the Israelites:
“The land we traveled through and explored will devour anyone who goes to live there. All the people we saw were huge. We even saw giants there, the descendants of Anak. Next to them we felt like grasshoppers, and that’s what they thought, too!”
Numbers 13:27-28, 30-33 NLT
The 10 spies lost hope and faith because they were intimidated. Caleb saw a different picture and knew that faith in God would give them the victory.
Well they got the victory doing it God’s way and not their way! They didn’t complain or make excuses as to why they could not overcome them. The walls of Jericho fell flat and they captured Canaan. See Joshua 6
God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and a sound mind (or discipline). 2 Tim. 1:7
Friend face your fears today and allow the Lord in your battle which takes humility and trust to and you will see victory. ‘It’s Time to March to Victory‘
“You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.’ ”
2 Chronicles 20:17 NIV
Remember the battle is the Lord’s! God’s wisdom and strength is much more safer than our own reasoning. Even though we cannot see a way out or how to overcome, God want us to look to Him for the victory.
‘Stand still’ means to stand still. Be patient and let the Lord take control of your family, your work situation, the ministry God is leading you into. Know that believing prayer will move mountains ⛰ 🙏.
It’s time to claim your spiritual inheritance of the promises and blessings of God
